Nigerian heavyweight vocalist, Omah Lay has finally dropped a jaw-dropping studio melody grabbed as “Free My Mind.”

Going by the full name Stanley Omah Didia, Omah Lay has shown he is one of the next big international star out of his generation to fill in the boots of heavyweight singer like Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy. 

Omah Lay hardly updates us with his studio record and anytime he does, he does with so much passion.

Free My Mind” is Omah Lay’s sophomore work in 2021 after his well-understood studio record, “Understand” which was on number one spot on several music charts for too long. 

Showing how the young music sensation gives his fans the heat in music despite his ordeal in Uganda, he has been tipped to take over from the heavyweights we have now.

“Free My Mind” and “Understand” came after his electrifying musical opus magnum,”What Have We Done” EP which was played throughout the most threatening phase in 2020’s nationwide EndSars Protest that ransacked and destabilized the national activities.

Omah Lay’s style has earned him the 2020 Headies Next Rated Award alongside his peers like Bella Shmurda, Oxlade and co who was all nominated alongside with him. “Free My Mind” will be no exception from the singer as he is willing to wrap the year in a grande style.

Lastly, the unique Afrobeat melody was produced by Blaise Beatz who attended the studio session with a no-brainer effect.
